BMW TWINPOWER TURBO PETROL ENGINES.

The intelligent innovations package comprising of TwinScroll turbocharger with Valvetronic, double Vanos and High Precision Injection not only enables the BMW X4 xDrive35i to unleash its impressive power, but is also responsible for its astonishing efficiency.
The 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol engine with 225 kW produces a maximum torque of 400 Nm, ensures acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 5.5 seconds and uses just 8.3 litres of fuel for 100 km. CO2 emissions are 193 g/km.

The engineers behind the BMW TwinPower four-cylinder petrol engines once again set new standards in dynamics and efficiency. Thanks to innovative TwinPower Turbo technology, these power plants generate impressive torque, even at extremely low revs. With its 180 kW , the BMW X4 xDrive28i accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 s. It has a top speed of 232 km/h and average fuel consumption of 7.0* litres per 100 km, with CO2 emissions of 162* g/km.

All figures were determined in accordance with the EU test cycle and depend on the selected tyre format.

* The lowest figure was achieved with the special equipment SA 2AM 17" light alloy wheels Streamline 306, which are subject to an additional charge.

*The published fuel consumption and CO2 emission figures are established according to legislated technical specifications (UNECE Regulation 101/UN Regulation 83 and SANS 20101 standards), which sets out the procedures that are used to measure the CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. The claimed figures are established using specific tests under standardised, carefully controlled conditions and may differ from consumption achieved under real world conditions with the influences of altitude, road surface, geographic conditions, vehicle options, temperature, humidity, tyres size and driving behaviour amongst others.
