EXTERIOR DESIGN.
A wide, characteristic line starts at the front, extends along the elongated bonnet, rises at the windscreen and then flows from the roof to the powerful rear.
Elaborate crease lines at the side provide impressive combinations of light and shade, which further emphasises the exclusive and dynamic elegance of the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé.
Chrome-plated tailpipe finishers, exterior mirrors and the characteristic kidney grille ensure an elegant, sporty appearance. The slats of the kidney grille in particular are extravagantly shaped and are reduced in number, which, together with the large air inlets in the redesigned apron, makes the front of the vehicle appear even more voluminous. The focused LED headlights of the vehicle are another beacon of excellence. Together with the new exterior colours, such as the BMW Individual paint finish Frozen Brilliant White metallic shown here, they guarantee an impressive presence at all times.
ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS.
Adaptive LED headlights with integrated low-beam and high-beam functions automatically adjust the light distribution to suit the driving speed, thereby dynamically illuminating the road ahead.
In addition to indicators and daytime running lights, it includes the Adaptive headlight function with variable city and highway light distribution, cornering lights, as well as BMW Selective Beam (anti-dazzle High-beam assist), which automatically switches between the low and high-beam lights. That allows the system to offer optimal road illumination under all conditions.
In the dark, the moveable headlights allow the driver to see far into curves as soon as the wheel is turned. To improve short-range visibility, the cornering lights are automatically activated as soon as the turn indicator is switched on or the steering wheel is turned – even when the vehicle is at a standstill. The Adaptive headlights ensure optimal illumination of nearby surroundings, thereby significantly increasing active safety.
BMW Selective Beam allows the driver to leave the high-beams on constantly, facilitating optimal visual conditions at night. The system monitors the presence of vehicles in front or oncoming traffic and adjusts the high-beam lights to avoid dazzling other road users.
20" LIGHT ALLOY WHEELS MULTI-SPOKE 616.
The optional 20" light alloy wheels Multi-spoke style 616 with mixed Runflat tyres are a sporty highlight. And not just optically − thanks to their excellent stability and low weight, they ensure noticeably improved handling.
The intricate pattern consisting of thick and thin spokes also guarantees an optimal air supply to the brake system.
INTERIOR DESIGN.
The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé pursues one aim - to achieve an even more exclusive interpretation of sporty elegance. This is clearly reflected in the interior. Long lines and elaborate surfaces create an exquisite sensation of spaciousness.
Optional features such as the BMW Individual fine-wood trim Ash Grain White or the BMW Individual full leather trim Amaro Brown round off the exclusive character.
Important driving-related information is provided on the high-resolution, free-standing Control Display with glass casing and galvanised surround. The even border between the display and the frame ensures a particularly premium look and feel. In the centre console, the high-gloss surfaces in Black Panel look are especially eye-catching.
In the rear of the vehicle, the seat bench with two individually contoured seats simply invites you to relax. When the centre armrest is up, there’s even room for a fifth passenger on short journeys. Other new features include the Design Pure Experience and Design Pure Excellence packages. With the new, exclusive ‘Nappa’ leather with extended contents in Cognac/Black or Ivory White/Black as well as countless other details, they further enhance the sporty or elegant character of the vehicle.
COLOURS & MATERIALS.
While the new metallic paint finishes Glacier Silver, Cashmere Silver and Jatoba ensure a more classic appearance, the other new metallic Melbourne Red and Mediterranean Blue paint finishes emphasise the sporty character of the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé.
Inside the vehicle, the new exclusive ‘Nappa’ leathers with extended contents in Ivory White/Black or Cognac/Black catch the eye. With contrast stitching as well as black applications on the backrests and seats, they combine sporty elegance with luxurious aesthetics. One particularly exclusive accessory is the BMW Individual interior trim in piano finish Black.

BANG & OLUFSEN HIGH-END SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM.
Thanks to its new Dirac Dimensions signal processing system, the Bang & Olufsen high-end surround sound system creates an open and lively atmosphere with exceptional acoustics.
The incredible sound is created by 16 loudspeakers with a 1,200 W output, incl. a centre speaker that automatically extends from the dashboard. The centre speaker is a mid-range speaker and is equipped with Acoustic Lens Technology, which ensures consistent sound quality on all seats. The system offers the choice of two sound settings: "Studio" for flawless sound and "Expanded", which creates the impression of a larger acoustic space. The audiovisual experience is rounded off with the illumination of individual loudspeakers.
