EXTERIOR DESIGN.
Striking lines and large inlets indicate just how much power is at your disposal in the BMW 1 Series. Flat, focused headlights, which are available as an option with full LED technology, point towards the heart of the front – the double kidney grille with a chrome surround.
The dynamic overall impression whets the appetite for unadulterated driving thrills. At the rear, large wheel housings and a wide track emphasise the close contact with the road surface. The L-shaped LED rear lights are an undeniable eye-catcher and demonstrate immediately that it’s a typical BMW that’s conquering the streets.
Adaptive LED headlights
The adaptive optional LED headlights with full LED technology include integrated turn indicators, low-beam headlights, high-beam headlights, as well as daytime running lights and cornering lights for safety and optimal illumination of the road. Eight high-power LEDs are provided for the low-beam and high-beam functions. The dynamic-looking, elongated LED turn indicators are placed strikingly to the sides of the characteristic LED daytime running lights. The anti-dazzle high-beam assist and adaptive headlights with variable light control for driving on city and country roads, as well as highways provide significant improvements in night-time driving safety – for secure and relaxed driving, almost like during the day.
LED fog lights
LED fog lights increase short-range visibility in fog or precipitation, improving night-time driving safety. Along with their broad beam angle, they are notable for the colour of their light, which is extremely similar to daylight. Other benefits include their long lifespan and low energy consumption.
The LED fog lights below the double round headlights set a technically advanced, modern tone for the already striking front of the BMW.
Rear lights
The two-part rear lights with the characteristic L-shaped design are based on LED technology. They consist of one lighting segment in the body of the car and one in the tailgate. Thanks to the dynamic brake light function, the drivers of cars behind are warned by flashing brake lights should the vehicle brake hard in an emergency situation.
INTERIOR DESIGN.
Fresh, modern and straightforward – that’s the impression created by the interior of the BMW 1 Series at first glance. And then confirmed at second glance. The cockpit has typical BMW driver orientation and the whole interior is characterised by top-quality design right down to the last detail. The standard-feature BMW Radio Professional is accompanied by various different chrome accents and a bezel in high-gloss Black.
The 360-litre luggage compartment can accommodate your shopping bags, backpack or large items of luggage, with sunglasses, cameras and other smaller objects stored in the doors and in the centre console. Exclusive surfaces give the interior an even more modern appearance, and personal touches are provided by the Urban Line, Sport Line and M Sport packages. Wherever you drive in the BMW 1 Series, one thing is guaranteed: You’ll never, ever be bored.
