EXTERIOR DESIGN.
The BMW 6 Series Coupé demonstrates grace and power in equal measure. Clear contours and self-assured surfaces characterise the exterior. In combination with the M Sport package, voluminous air inlets and striking tailpipe finishers further emphasise the vehicle’s sportiness.
With nine gleaming slats and flanked by LED headlights, it’s the kidney grille that dominates the front. Extensive wheel arches and inward-pointing lights create a deep-lying, muscular appearance at the rear. In total, all the above details underscore the first impression with a vengeance. This is an elegant coupé that is simply raring to go.
ADAPTIVE LED HEADLIGHTS.
Adaptive LED headlights with integrated low-beam and high-beam functions automatically adjust the light distribution to suit the driving speed, thereby dynamically illuminating the road ahead.
In addition to indicators and daytime running lights, it includes the Adaptive headlight function with variable city and highway light distribution, cornering lights, as well as BMW Selective Beam (anti-dazzle High-beam assist), which automatically switches between the low and high-beam lights. That allows the system to offer optimal road illumination under all conditions.
In the dark, the moveable headlights allow the driver to see far into curves as soon as the wheel is turned. To improve short-range visibility, the cornering lights are automatically activated as soon as the turn indicator is switched on or the steering wheel is turned, even when the vehicle is at a standstill. The Adaptive headlights ensure optimal illumination of nearby surroundings and significantly increase active safety.
BMW Selective Beam allows the driver to leave the high-beams on constantly, facilitating optimal visual conditions at night. The system monitors the presence of vehicles in front or oncoming traffic and adjusts the high-beam lights to avoid dazzling other road users.
20" LIGHT ALLOY WHEELS MULTI-SPOKE STYLE 616.
The optional 20" light alloy wheels Multi-spoke style 616 with mixed Runflat tyres are a sporty highlight. And not just optically − thanks to their excellent stability and low weight, they ensure noticeably improved handling.
The intricate pattern consisting of thick and thin spokes also guarantees an optimal air supply to the brake system.
INTERIOR DESIGN.
The most important instrument displays and switches are orientated towards the driver, guaranteeing the masterful control that is essential for a sports coupé.
Generous surfaces and clearly contoured lines combine with highly detailed instruments and top-quality materials to create an exclusive impression that appeals to all the senses. The high-resolution, frameless Control Display with glass casing and galvanised surrounds is free-standing above the instrument panel and provides important information in brilliant quality, even in bright daylight. The Black Panel look of the centre console adds a premium finishing touch to the sophisticated interior.
All seats are ergonomically optimised. Optionally the instrument panel, the centre console and the upper door and side panels come in high-quality exclusive 'Nappa' leather with extended contents and contrast stitching. Individual accents are provided by interior trims in selected fine-wood or cool aluminium.
COLOURS & MATERIALS.
When it comes to the look of the BMW 6 Series Coupé, It's a question of character. Select the Glacier Silver or the dark Jatoba metallic paint finishes to give the BMW 6 Series Coupé an elegantly athletic look. Melbourne Red and Mediterranean Blue create all-round sporty flair.
The same versatility applies to the interior, too. Bicolour combinations in exclusive 'Nappa' leather with extended features in Ivory White/Black, for example, give the ambience a striking character. Specific accentuations can be applied with fine-wood trims in 'Fineline' brown or poplar grain grey, for instance.
The BMW Individual range offers maximum exclusivity. Equipment elements such as the interior trim in Piano finish Black or the BMW Individual full leather fine-grain 'Merino' trim in colours such as Platinum or Champagne refine the interior and there are several additional BMW Individual paint finishes to choose from for the exterior.
BANG & OLUFSEN HIGH-END SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM.
Thanks to its new Dirac Dimensions signal processing system, the Bang & Olufsen high-end surround sound system creates an open and lively atmosphere with exceptional acoustics.
The incredible sound is created by 16 loudspeakers with a 1,200 W output, incl.
a centre speaker that automatically extends from the dashboard. The centre speaker is a mid-range speaker and is equipped with Acoustic Lens Technology, which ensures consistent sound quality on all seats. The system offers the choice of two sound settings: "Studio" for flawless sound and "Expanded", which creates the impression of a larger acoustic space. The audiovisual experience is rounded off with the illumination of individual loudspeakers.
